Join the Friends of North Stanly Trails and Parks
The primary purposes of the organization are to expand and maintain our trails. We have many dedicated volunteers who spend a good deal of time on these tasks. You would be surprised just how much effort goes into planning, obtaining the proper allowances, and building a new section of trail! Often, substantial funds are needed to make it happen. (Do you have any idea how much it costs to put in a new cross-walk? Hoo-whee!)
To maintain the trails requires some tools, and to maintain this website also takes funds.
Though we are sometimes able to get grants to help with the costs of certain projects, most of our funding comes from our members, people like you.
If you’d like to help in our efforts to maintain the Falcon Trail and extend the length of this set of trails, please consider becoming a Friend. There are various levels of membership and annual memberships are for the current calendar year. Memberships are tax deductible, as the Friends are a 501c organization.
